Alex has been in real estate for more than 13 years, but if you ask him what keeps him showing up, it's not the transactions, it's the people. He genuinely loves helping families through big moments, and he's learned that the best part of this job isn't handing over keys. It's the conversations in between, the problem-solving, the relief on someone's face when things finally click into place.

Before real estate, Alex spent years as a Golf Course Superintendent, a job that requires leadership, strategy, and the ability to solve problems. Those years taught him how to stay calm when things go wrong and how to think ahead so his clients don't have to. He doesn't just react to problems. He sees them coming and handles them quietly, behind the scenes.

Alex is rooted in his community in a way that matters. He serves on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Harford and Cecil Counties, helps organize the annual Catch-A-Pig 5K, and is an active member of Bel Air Rotary, not for recognition, but because it’s who he is.

Outside of work, he's on the pickleball court, out on a trail, or in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe or making a family favorite. He's a husband, a dad, and someone who understands that home isn't just four walls, it's where life happens.

Clients describe Alex as someone who shows up, follows through, and doesn't let things slip. He knows this process can feel like a lot, so he brings clarity when it's confusing and confidence when you need it most.

Brook didn't just join real estate; she joined her family. Five years ago, after spending 20 years helping college students navigate big life decisions, she left higher education and stepped into the Polaris Home Team alongside her husband, Alex. Today, she's a licensed agent and the operational backbone of the team, guiding clients through every step of the process from start to finish.

From the first conversation to closing day, Brook is there, keeping timelines on track and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. She's deeply involved with buyers and sellers once they're under contract, turning what can feel chaotic into something manageable. Her years as an academic advisor taught her how to listen, problem-solve, and stay calm when things get complicated.

One of her favorite parts of the job is helping sellers get their homes ready. Decluttering, downsizing, letting go of things that no longer serve you, it's emotional work, and she gets it. After recently helping her own dad through a major downsize and move, she saw up close how hard it can be to leave a home full of memories. Now, she brings that same patience and care to every client, helping them feel supported, not rushed, as they step into their next chapter.

Outside of real estate, Brook stays grounded through fitness and hot yoga. She's a homebody at heart and loves nothing more than being home with her family. But her favorite role? Being a mom. She's her kids' biggest cheerleader, just watching them figure out who they're becoming as young adults.
